Genesis Youth and Family Ministry

Our magnificent Genesis Youth Movement children and teen programs are rich with spiritual nurturing, meaningful activities, and an atmosphere of fun and joy! Genesis is a family church and we are committed to enthusiastically revealing the love of God as each of our children and each of our families.

• In a nutshell
• Our G.Y.M. Children Ministry provides a safe and sacred space for children during both the 10:00 am Meditation Service and the 10:30 am Celebration Service for ages 1-12.
• Our G.Y.M. Teen Ministry is established and all teens 13 and older are welcome to join the groups created by and for YOU!
• All team members and volunteers are well trained, enthusiastic, and excited to be of service to our children and families. All members and volunteers go through background checks to ensure the safety of our children and integrity of our program.
• Volunteer with this dynamic Ministry! We provide all the support you need–-you simply show up being who you are and be ready to play, laugh, and play some more! We have regular Volunteer Trainings and we invite you to contact the G.Y.M. directors in our community if you are called to serve the youth at Genesis.

Parents and/or other adult family members are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer, both as a support to G.Y.M. and as a way to experience the joy of our programs with your children!

Genesis Youth Movement Children and Family Ministry creates our Sunday program on the premise that our children know their inherent Wholeness. We simply celebrate and bring forth this Truth by providing the space for full self-expression through the exploration of spiritual concepts and principles using: prayer, meditation, stories, music, movement, drama, arts and crafts, games, sharing/discussion and play.

For our children ages 4-12, we have an open play time, introductions, candle lighting, offering, prayer with a Genesis Licensed Practitioner and the spiritual lesson.

For our children ages 1–3, we provide a safe and loving environment in which they learn, create, and express through play, music, books, toys, movement and art. Their schedule is open and flexible based on the needs of the children and how they want to express themselves.

We provide a healthy snack and water to all of our children, unless instructed otherwise by the family.
