Dear Genesis,
I pray you are well and blessed today.
In a few short weeks on December 2, Genesis has its 4th birthday. Over those 4 years this wonderful community has provided inspiration, service, love and healing to many, many people. From the beginning we have been committed only to revealing love and we continue to hold true to that sacred purpose. It is the reason for our existence.
Over these first 4 years we have also experienced steady growth and expansion. Every year we experience a greater participation in all of our ministries. Love does indeed have a way of drawing unto itself. It is after all the bottom line. We shall continue to work on perfecting our loving and act on behalf of this commitment.

Community. A Powerful word. One used to describe folks gathered for a purpose- whether that purpose be conscious, unconscious or subconscious. All of us are connected in community somehow. The job, the grocery store, church, the park, sporting event, theater, hiking trail. Community is how we live. Even if you resist it and pretend you aren’t connected. You are. I am. It’s the way it is.
Conscious Community. Two powerful words. Both used to describe folks gathered for a purpose- and are aware of that purpose.
Conscious Loving Community. Three powerful words. All used to describe folks gathered for the purpose of cultivating and revealing a transformative and dynamic love that heals and inspires. This is Genesis. This is the revolution that is evident as every aspect of our beloved community. How will you contribute to the love revolution that is Genesis today?
Love.

by Rev. Safire Rose- from Inner Visions, Feb. 2003 “She Let Go”
She let go. Without a thought or a word, she let go. She let go of the fear. She let go of the judgments. She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head. She let go of the committee of indecision within her. She let go of all the “right” reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go.
She didn’t ask anyone for advice . She didn’t read a book on how to let go. She didn’t search the scriptures. She just let go. She let go of all the memories that held her back. She let go of all the anxiety that kept her from moving forward She let go of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right.

This scientific term is a powerful one. It simply means that once conditions are ripe, an evolutionary leap takes place that is mind blowing. Yet another reason to not ever be frustrated about your spiritual work. Yes, there do seem to be longs periods in life where nothing seems to be moving. You are praying, you are affirming your greatest good, but there is no manifestation. Even if it doesn’t appear that your inner work is bearing fruit, don’t fret. Each prayer, each moment in silent communion with the Whole Spirit of life is lifting you in an awareness of your excellence. Sometimes it takes a little while to reorganize an entire life.
Sometimes it takes a little while to really rid yourself of those old beliefs and supplant them with new, empowered ones. Keep practicing.
Keep working. Keep praying. Keep digging. In a moment it will all change and you will wonder why you ever considered giving up. Big love.

When was the last time you consciously prayed to be a better you?
When was the last time you sat down and invited your entire life to be activated in the presence and majesty and love of God? When you consciously invite yourself to be grown and expanded you literally move your consciousness into recognizing all the best parts of your life. Do it today.
Take a deep breath and say “I consciously invite my entire life into the power, majesty and love of God.”
Boom. Life just got better. Love.
